THOUGHTFUL CONVERSATIONS FOR TIMES

OF CHANGE, CHALLENGE AND DECISION

When ...

  • life feels crowded and you can't hear yourself think

  • you're pulled in directions that no longer feel true

  • decisions carry weight and the stakes feel high

  • old hurts and new fears arrive uninvited

  • your values and your responsibilities clash â€‹â€‹

  • you sense it's time for something to shift

Try ...

  • hearing yourself think out loud

  • checking in with your purpose and vocation

  • focusing on the next few steps

  • noticing the insights and shifts in energy â€‹â€‹

  • deciding on your questions your way

  • trusting yourself to be the you, you already are

Why 148coaching?

  • LinkedIn

I'm Dan Tyndall.

For more than thirty years I worked as a parish priest, accompanying people through times of change, challenge and decision. Along the way I led complex organisations, managed staff and volunteers, worked with trustees and governance structures, and supported clergy serving in demanding parish settings.

Since setting up 148coaching.com, much of my work has had a vocational angle, helping both individuals and organisations remain true to what matters most when roles become more demanding, responsibilities increase, or circumstances change. These questions arise in churches, charities, public bodies, businesses and personal lives alike.

You are probably here because you know me, know someone who knows me, or have come across my writing. Whatever has brought you here, my role is not to provide quick fixes or ready-made answers. Instead, I offer a thoughtful and confidential space in which to think, explore and make decisions.

The common thread through all my work, whether in coaching, leadership accompaniment, independent review or facilitation, is to help people and organisations find clarity, direction and confidence when navigating the gap between what matters most and the reality they face.

Testimonials

Andrew Cooke, Executive Coach

Dan helped me untangle a knotty ethical dilemma that had been troubling me. Dan's calm energy and focus enabled me to work out my next steps. I had a profound aha moment during the session about how I typically respond to criticism which was enlightening not just in the context of the issue we were discussing but that will have a significant impact in other areas of my life. Thanks Dan!

About Me

  • LinkedIn

I have been a parish priest for over 30 years. During that time I led complex organisations, worked with senior leaders, managed staff and volunteers, navigated governance and finance, and helped people make difficult decisions in demanding circumstances.

My purpose is rooted in helping people navigate complexity with clarity and care. I have significant experience with senior leaders, underserved communities and individuals with protected characteristics.

I’ve spent those years working alongside people in all kinds of settings — listening, asking questions, and enabling them to discern their own way forward. My experience spans charity leadership, faith-based work, and education.

148 Coaching is just me. Book here and you get me. The name comes from a simple idea: one conversation can change the way you see things.

I don’t offer quick fixes or ready-made answers: that would challenge your sense of agency. Rather, I create a safe and non-judgmental space in which you can think creatively, explore honestly, and decide what matters most to you.

Most coaching is online, but if you’re near Battersea, we can meet face-to-face if you would find that useful. However we meet, the conversation will always be led by your needs and go at your pace.

If you’d like to get a feel for how this works, you’re welcome to a free 15-minute conversation.  No pressure, no preparation — just a chance to meet and see if this feels useful.

Making coaching and leadership support accessible

I believe good coaching and leadership support should be judged by the quality of the conversation and the difference it makes, not by the size of the invoice.

I also want coaching and leadership support to be accessible to people and organisations with very different levels of resources.

For those reasons, I use a transparent tiered fee structure. My fees reflect both the nature of the work and the organisation commissioning it:

Coaching Fee

£300 per hour

£150 per hour

£75 per hour

Sector

Commercial Organisations

Public Sector Organisations

Charities, Churches & Faith Groups

newsletter

Coaching is charged on an hourly basis using the structure above. Facilitation, independent review and consultancy are quoted individually according to the nature and scope of each project.

If cost would prevent a conversation that feels important, please get in touch. I'm always happy to discuss what might be possible.

Thanks for getting in touch

I look forward to hearing from you
